In most cases, the noise is enough to put you off completely. A complex motor like a car runs on manifold parts working simultaneously in separate directions. Insufficient lubrication can lead to conflict between separate tantalizing parts. This would automatically cause a screeching/whining noise each time you press the accelerator. A conflict in the mechanism of the car transmission would lead to unusual noises. This could be due to a decrease in transmission fluid. A worn out gear law could also cause whining sound. This could occur in the front or rear side of the vehicle. This is caused due to conflict in between the ring and pinion arrangement.

Engine problems are a prominent cause for whining noises. This could be due to conflict because of decreased lubrication or loosening of some vital components. Problems while power steering also causes whining noises. This could be observed when you take a turn each time and accelerate. A loosened belt over the power steering pump’s pulley could be a cause for this noise and can be fixed up immediately by tightening the belt.

Getting the problem checked immediately will go a long way in maintaining your car’s internal parts in the best inherent condition.
